Pondering Crater Lake

Here is Mark's latest offering titled,"Pondering Crater Lake" a.k.a. "The Masterpiece". It is 48" x 60". Notice the intense blues of this spring fed lake. Two of the papers were hand-marbled in Paris and carried,by plane,to Portland,Oregon. The 21" high Klamath Chief is composed of various bark papers(including banana tree,lokta,and two different corkskin papers). His face is painted with red oxide acrylic. Painted gold accents appear throughout his regalia.
